Has anyone used a luggage tracker on their luggage or other items? If so, which one did you use and what did you think of it? Was considering getting one for my luggage and backpack, but I would get other peoples opinions on them before I spent the money on it. Thanks

Will be using a carry on when I go to Europe, but assume that I will have to check it on the way home. Was wondering if a baggage tracker of some sort would be worthwhile or if this would just be a waste of money. Thanks

Unsure about other airlines, but I am a FF on Delta and on my last couple of flights, they have sent me text messages when my bag was loaded on the plane, and when it was being loaded into baggage claim. Pretty nifty. I've never used any of the electronic gadgets so can't help there.

We always check bags on the way home -- if they get misrouted/delayed, we just have the airline deliver them to our home and wear the clothes in the closet at home. I wouldn't spend money on a tracking device just for that.

It is a electronic device that supposedly allows you to track your luggage. It is one of those things that I suppose could be a good idea if you frequently lose your luggage. On the other hand, it just plays to the market hype and fear with stories of lost bags. (Knock on wood) But in all of our many, many years of travel and dozens of international flights we have never had a lost or delayed bag. Always check coming home and on some trips will check at least one bag going. Never have had a problem so think bag tacker is a solution looking for a problem.
