I just discovered Luggage Straps / Belts when I was watching The View and it was offered on View Your Deal
Interested in them.
Can you use them to secure a carry on on to the rolling bag. Apparently you can also use them to personalize your luggage. How else do you use them?
For those who have them or had them,, what is your. experience and opinion?
I bought a little item off Amazon which has a small pocket and bungees to attach a bug to a rolling carry on. It works fairly well, but made the carry on so heavy that it was hard on my elbow.
Does your carry on have wheels? There is a strap clip for that. In fact many of my luggage sets came with one. Alternatively, a bunny set up. Google 'luggage piggyback strap'.
I used to use them around my bag to keep it from coming open because I don't lock it. After having my bag come out of the baggage chute strapless, lol, 3 times I quit using them. I think they get caught in the conveyor belts or some other automated piece of baggage handling equipment.
I've never used one to strap on a personal item as I don't double deck them and if I were going to do that I'd use one of the bags that has a built in trolley strap. That one would not go thru the baggage system so it's probably safer.
What kind of personal item are you going to take on your cruise?
I have used large carabiners to attach bags to each other if they dont already have straps. I found that more secure than belts.
My parents bought me one of those years ago and used a couple themselves. I never saw the point and found the strap-around-the-bag thing annoying.
