I am taking the train from Basel to Dijon and wanted to know if there is luggage storage at the train station in Dijon.

Yes, there are coin-operated lockers at Dijon Ville. Here's a quote from the SNCF Gares-en-mouvement site: From Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:20 PM and from 1:40 PM to 5:00 PM. From Saturday to Sunday from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and from 1:45 PM to 5:45 PM.
Bank holidays from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and from 1:45 PM to 5:45 PM.

I gave you wrong information. There is a staffed left luggage office, not lockers. Plan to collect your bags at least 20 minutes before your train's departure time.
