I am going to Europe in the Spring and will be taking one checked bag and one carry on bag. Both are on rollers. However, I would like to stack the smaller carryon bag on top of the larger checked bag and do not have a secure way to strap the two together. Recommendations, please. Thanks, Esther
Without seeing it, it is hard to recommend anything. Sounds like one bag too many. A bungee cord would have too much slack especially if the second bag has any weight. The local hardware stores sell velcro strips by the foot. I would get a couple of long strips of velcro and see if that would work.
You can buy luggage straps. They stay together well and survive trips through luggage sorters. I carry on only. My mom checks and uses a brightly colored rainbow strap to help her identify her bag when it comes off the plane.
I've used a bungee cord . . . just have to get the right size. I use a small one to keep it tight. The velcro is a great idea. Thanks.
Do you mean something like this:
