Are asking about the Rick Steves' convertible or any convertible? Eagle Creek is a good line and available in most camping related stores like REI.

While not in LA, if you have time...
Ebags has it pretty cheap. (Sorry, Rick but I think I am going there. $30 saving plus free shipping.... )
