Louvre & d'Orsay one-day tickets

We are going to Paris for the first time in April 2013 and will only have time to go to the Louvre and the musee d'Orsay. What site should I use to buy these tickets in advance? The Louve site does not mention the one-day so I'm confused. Thanks for your help!

No reason to buy them in advance; just buy them on the way in.

hi, i used a Paris Pass when i was there. But from what i can tell, you will have to pickup your ticket somewhere. So unless someone else chimes in, i would just get their early and hope for the best. by the way (BTW), if you can, use the underground entrance. when i was there there was about 30~50 people using it. Also, BTW, you will have to go through security and that takes about the same time. you are going to enjoy both. Its too bad you cant spend more time in both musuems and the other ones. happy trails.

It seems you don't want to wait in a line. In that case, you can use the FNAC website in English: http://www.fnactickets.com/ Choose "Exhibitions" from the list on the left. FNAC is a large, important books, music, camera, electronics chain in France, and I've used them for tickets in the past. The Louvre tickets were one of the first choices and D'Orsay was just below a few choices down. I followed the site for a few windows and it remained in English; didn't revert to French. They do charge .50 more for printing at home. Your other choice is to go into one of their stores to have them print the tickets.
Bon voyage.
