Looking for tiny purse recommendations

I have used an old Eagle Creek mini crossover purse for many years. I love it because it’s very lightweight, but holds credit cards, cash and even a tiny pen securely. But sadly, my ourse is looking rather ratty. Unfortunately, the newer Eagle Creek smallest bag is larger and heavier. Anyone have a recommendation? By biggest desire is super lightweight.

I love the Baggallini brand of purses. I’ve used those for many years, and they come in a large variety of sizes. The fabric is washable, too. I’ve washed them in my washing machine using the “hand wash “ setting, and they look great again.

This is the Baggallini that I use. I usually just use it as a crossbody, but there are times that I put it in my larger bag as a wallet. Holds cards, money, my cell, iPod touch and one day supply of our meds. I actually have 2, but mine do not have RFID.

This is the other small purse that I love, and have two of these as well, but it is not as flat for wearing under a light jacket, if that matters to you. It holds a little more and looks a little nicer.

My small KIPLING only gets heavy when I add heavy items. Also, I have added additional Gorillas.

Do you have a TJMaxx near you? They've had a lot of small purses in my local one lately. I've seen Baggallini, Vera Bradley and Kipling.

I use a small Eddie Bauer Connect travel wallet but mine is older and they've slightly changed the style and fabric making both worse, hahaha! Why didn't they ask me before they made a change?

They also have some smaller size cross body bags that might work for you.

Thank you for your recommendations. Seems like when I go to replace most items, the latest version is different in an undesirable way. This even happened with my Rick Steves daypack- same name, but much smaller 🙁.

If you're looking for security, try a Travelon bag. They have RFID pockets, anti-slash bottoms and straps, and locking zippers. I bought this one to use as a daily purse. It is rather small--it has 4 credit card slots, a space for my iPhone XS, and a place for my Passport. I put bills and change in the outer zip pocket. A pen, Burt's Bees, lipstick and a pair of reading glasses all fit nicely--not much else will fit, though. The plan is to use this as a wallet (it's not that much bigger than most wallets) when I travel, putting it inside my larger Pacsafe travel purse. https://www.travelonbags.com/anti-theft/type/mini-small-slim/43202-anti-theft-convertible-crossbody-clutch

I'm another Baggallini fan. My latest favorite travel bag is the pocket crossbody. Weight: 9 oz. It comes with removable RFID wristlet. As mentioned upthread it can be machine washed in a lingerie bag, cool temperature, hand wash setting. Currently on sale. #POC879 www.baggallini.com

I just bought a Kipling Alwyn cross body bag in a summery turquoise colour at my local Marshall's.

It's 9" x 4" x 1.75" and weighs about 5 oz. Adjustable strap, 2 outside pockets (1 zip, 1 snap), and a zipped main compartment with slip pockets.

I easily fit a pocket size guide book, my phone, a credit card and some cash into the main compartment, and there was a bit of room to spare.

It's the first time I've bought a Kipling bag, it seems to be well made, I guess time will tell.

Go to Ross Dress for Less or any other low cost store for tiny vacation purses. I dont take fancy purses on vacations, especially If I know they might get lost, or ruined in rain or mud.

Just bought a small Travel Wallet- crossbody purse from Eddie Bauer, mentioned by Pam above. It’s currently on 50% off sale for only $10. It’s perfect with may pockets, credit card holders and 2 zippier compartments. The salesman said they’d be on sale for a few more days. Thanks again!!

I hope it works for you! I travel solo and it is a good size for me to wear on the plane under a cardie with my passport, some cash and credit cards while the rest is stashed in a money belt. It also fits zipped up under a rain jacket if it’s a wet day and I’m planning to be out and about.

Glad to pay the enabling favor forward too, haha. Someone mentioned an e-bags flat pack toiletry kit a couple of weeks ago and now Not only do I have one but it’s packed and ready to go for the end of September!
