We will be visiting the following this June/July:
Zurich Switzerland (already booked lodging Central Plaza Hotel)
Munich
Saltzburg
Slovenia (thinking Bohinj and Piran areas but up for suggestions)
Venice
Lake Como (already booked in Varenna/Albergo Milano)
Switzerland (thinking Montreaux, Zermatt and Lake Lucerne but up for suggestions)
Love ideas from some that have stayed in these areas. We will have a car which I know we can't park directly in Venice, Piran and Zermatt. Would love thoughts about best parking in these areas also.
Zermatt was told to park at the nearby train station and just train to Zermatt?
Also if looking to do one scenic train ride that does a loop rather than a full day there/full day home...any thoughts?
Thinking perhaps Saltzburg to Vienna or in Switzerland. Would love suggestions!
