London, Paris & Munich -- Help

My wife and I are planning our first trip to Europe next summer. We are flying into London. We plan to spend three nights in London, three nights in Paris, and six nights in Munich, flying home from there. We would like to take the Eurostar from London to Paris, and then the TGV from Paris to Munich, but booking the rail connections in advance looks complicated, if not fraught with peril for the newbie. I would appreciate any help.

This link is for a very good site on using the railway in the UK and mainland Europe. Lots of helpful hints. The only thing I would add is that buying in advance will save you lots of money! http://www.seat61.com/

The really cheap tickets go on sale about 90 days in advance and are snapped up quickly. You can figure out when they go on sale by testing dates around 90 days from today. I have purchased London to Paris and Paris to Amsterdam online with no problems, either in the purchasing process or at the train stations.
