London hotel accommodation for four/December?

There is a very "good" possibility that we are going once more to Brittany for Christmas, but we cannot bear to skip London on this trip, and are thinking of spending at least 3-4 nights there.

In Montparnasse, we had an excellent hotel "Best Western" that actually had a quad room, and was quite comfortable and only cost $150 US per night! A steal I thought.

Has anyone had a similar experience of a quad room at one of London's hotels that might be around that price?

on hotwire.com i got the Waldorf Hilton for $110 a night.

However, if I had to do it over, I'd get an apartment for the same price. The space is larger, and you can store little things like water, milk, soda, or even food in the kitchen for a late snack or breakfast! Most have washers so you can do a load before your next destination.

Well the "good" possibility of going to Europe has turned into a "reality", so I am now trying to find accommodations in London for 3-4 nights. We have been there before, but stayed with friends in Abingdon and Clapham. This time we don't want to inconvenience anyone so close to Christmas so I am trying to find "affordable" accommodations i.e. quad rooms. Found a link with hotels that do offer quad rooms, but I never heard of them and so not sure what I will get myself into.

Any recommendations from this list?

Eli - I'm not sure of the configuration you are looking for in a quad room, but here is a link, www.elizabethhotel.com.

I have never stayed at this location, but it was recommended to be by friends.

You can look at the reviews on Trip Advisor.

Try: www.vrbo.com

I am going in the Fall with 3 others and found an apartment in downtown London for a great price. It equals to about $40.00 per person per night. There is a kitchen so we can make our meals (which saves us money)and also have laundry facilities so we'll pack even less!!

Hope this helps!!!

Traveled to London with my family in March 2008. We were six people and rented a lovely apartment in Chelsea through regent suites. Very reasonable and conveniently locateed.

I’m going to recommend Cherry Court Hotel in the vicinity of Victoria Station. It’s not fancy, but it’s very clean, quiet, and inexpensive. Also, this property is highly rated on www.tripadvisor.com. Quad prices are around 100 Euros per night…a bargain. I’ll stay there again on my next visit. I believe this may be one of Rick’s recommended lodgings.
