Any ideas of places to go for a massage (not too pricey) or facial, pedicure etc....would like to pamper myself while visiting.

The only inexpensive "spa" option that I have heard of is the Porchester Spa (http://www.westminster.gov.uk/leisureandculture/sports/porchesterspa.cfm). It is a spa attached to a public rec center in the Bayswater area. I've only been to the swimming pool (a typical London public pool ... small, overcrowded) and not to the spa portion so I cannot tell you first hand what the spa is like. I have heard that they have reasonably priced massages and other treatments and the like but it is not a luxurious environment.
I've heard The Sanctuary (near Covent Garden)is a very luxurious (and pricey) spa.
Again, I've had no experience with either of these first hand.

this can be a tall order, everything in London is expensive. you might contact tourist board of London
maybe they can help and know of a school that has students practice on clients.
