I see in another post that people rely on a lot of lists. Would anyone care to share the names of some of their lists? There are the obvious ones: Things to do Before I Leave, Packing List, Hotel Accommodation/Flights, Addresses...
I would love to know what other people use and find helpful.

I take a list of my passwords and important web sites (check your bank statements and credit card accounts, pay your bills etc.) You may want to use a simple code to disguise your passwords....
As well as photocopying passport and travel documents etc., I scan and email them to myself. Leave a copy of everything with a family member at home.
Due to the fact we went for 8 weeks I prepared 4 small report binders with out important info.
Tab with City
Printed train schedule for the travel day.
Web page with hotel, hostel, etc., address, directions,phone #, etc.
Other tourist info for city.
Next Tab for next City.......
The report binders were not thick...threw them away when we left that city.
Had all my web links in my yahoo account.
E-mailed ahead and confirmed ALL hotel and hostel reservations.
