Lisieux, Lourdes, Fatima

Has anyone done a Paris, Lisieux, Lourdes, and Fatima trip? If so, can you help me with planning out our trip? Transportation, hotels, safety?

@kgstadler, to get better responses, add details like when, for how many days, and how do you plan/want to travel (by car, train, etc)

Have you googled such trips. There are organizations that offer pilgrimages to these places. The Marians of the Immaculate Conception, for example, have a pilgrimage route for France.

As to your original question, I would say skip Fatima, and stay in France. There are two threads on the forum this month that could be applied to you trip. One is about if there are more tourist this year and the other is about backdoor places to visit.

You have named the big sites (think of them as London or Rome, always full of visitors and probably more this year), and they will probably be more busy than the last few years. I visited Lourdes last August and it was packed with visitors. Skip Fatima and visit some of the small Marian sites. Think of it as the the backdoor places. Places that can really be worth the visit, yet are rather unbusy or unknown. The cost and effort of getting to Fatima from Lourdes could easily be replaced by visiting a place like Notre Dame de Prouille, and Fanjeaux.
