We can only say we flew into Lisbon and stayed 7 nights. We wanted to get over jet lag.
We would recommend just doing the city if you are not too exhausted from the flight. See a fado show in Biaro Alto and see the city. It is a place we long to go back to and spend time in, but next time do some of the coast also. So far we will be going to Italy and Croatia in the next month, but a return to Lisbon is something we will plan to do soon again as we are in our 70's. Lisbon is a jewel and a friendlier people would be hard to find. Maybe that's why we loved it so much.
We did Sintra and the Pena Palace and an hour is not near long enough to see the palace. And yes you have planned way too much.

I don't think you will learn anything about Lisbon with this schedule. It's just a drive-by with most of your time spent elsewhere, and the best places in Lisbon, you can't really drive through very well if at all. It is unique among cities we have visited. We spent a week there and did not do one thing on your list. S-l-o-w d-o-w-n.

Lisbon is a lovely city to walk in on the amazing tile patterned squares and streets, surrounded by buildings with tiled exteriors.

Or take the famous #28 Trolley around town, with or without stopping to take pictures.

Or ride on the Santa Justa Elevator (Lisbon is hilly).

Or take the fabulous Lisbon Metro anywhere just to see the gorgeous tile stations. The Park of the Nations, site of Lisbon's 1998 World's Fair is a good destination.

Or eat at and watch the people go by in the Commercio Square from the Cafe Restaurante Martinho da Arcada.

And see and hear Fado in the evening, especially at Sr. Fado in the Alfama district.

With only one day, I won't even mention the National Tile Museum or a side trip to Belem (Pasteis de Belem, Jeronimos Monastery, Belem Tower, Discoveries Monument). Oops, I guess I did!

I agree with the previous posters. Wayyyy to much to do in that time frame. We were in Lisbon for 3 days and need to go back to see more. You're just doing a drive-by. With only the one day I would just see Lisbon with Belem. Take the time to truly enjoy the city, walk the streets, see the Gulbenkian, enjoy a pastry . Lisbon has much to offer .

As attested by everyone else, you could easily spend the whole day in Lisbon.

However, if you insist on fitting in something else as well... plan on Sintra in the morning, then Lisbon for the afternoon and evening.

The Lisbon tour guide is right; and, as Ed succinctly stated, your plan is impossible.
