Liquid nutrition

Greetings
I am on liquid diet due to oral cancer issues. Does anyone know about the available options such as ensure or boost type products in Paris ,Rome and other big cities in Europe ? I do not want to have to bring a big suitcase with my milkshakes if I can get tem as I'm traveling. Thanks for your help

FWIW, I know for a fact you can get protein shakes very easily in both Paris and Rome, at the supermarket and at pharmacies that stock food. They aren't a rarity or specialty item at all. :-)

Remember, European have the same health issues and needs as American tourists. Same products are available on both sides of the water.

In Italy, most supermarkets will have what you need. You might want to try a Farmacia as well.

I know that a tour member of mine did buy Ensure brand at a Farmacia in Florence. That was a dozen years ago, so I expect options only to improve.

Go to any Pharmacie in Paris. The pharmacists will speak English. It would be a good idea to bring a photo of the products you use, so they can compare the nutritional values for you.

I understand your dilemma. My daughter required pedisure (tube fed until age 9 ) for a number of years and it was a real pain having to travel with enough cans of food for the trip. I would take an extra case for food and buy extra there as needed. Yes you can buy liquid food in Europe but it is quite expensive when you consider how many cans you need each day. Is there a powder protein meal you could perhaps mix with milk/water that would help you supplement your diet? It would carry easier than heavy cans of food?
