Hi all,
Any recommendations on hidden gems along my travels around Latvia and Lithuania?
I plan on traveling from Tallinn to Riga. Riga to Vilnius. Vilnius to Palanga. Palanga to Ventspils for the ferry crossing.

I'm not sure if this counts as a hidden gem, as many people know about it, but it is hidden in the most literal sense- one of my favourite things I did in Latvia was visit the former Soviet bunker in Gauja National Park: https://www.entergauja.com/en/things-to-do/history/secret-soviet-bunker-in-ligatne
The park itself is beautiful too and it's worth spending time there. In addition to the bunker we rode a bobsled down an old bobsled track and took a cable car over a gorge.
I also highly recommend a hot air balloon ride over Trakai Castle in Lithuania- that was my favourite part of our trip (and it's one of the less expensive places to do a hot air balloon ride).
