Kudos for the Landor Hawa Sub 0 G bag

If anyone is looking for a wheelie bag that is extremely lightweight, I suggest you check this brand. This is the first piece of luggage that I actually love. I used it during a 2 wk stay in Belgium & the Netherlands (RS tour for most of it). The farthest I pulled the bag was about a 3/4 mile walk in Amsterdam when I changed hotels. The bag practically pulled itself - all I needed to do was guide it. I used an Eagle Creek folder & various cubes to organize the space which worked very well. For once I won't be looking for a new piece of luggage my next trip.

This looks like a great bag. Is it allowed as a carry-on in the 20.5 or 21 inch size?

I concur! I'm taking mine to Italy in a few days and it's been a joy to pack. For an 18 day trip I've got it packed to about 18 pounds and it's about 1/3 empty. It's so light but still feels sturdy!

Unfortunately, as was stated, they no longer make the 19" bag which makes no sense to me.

Most manufacturers, when they give the dimensions of their wheeled luggage, give the dimensions of the bag itself and it does not include the wheels and handle.

As an example, the RS 21 rolling bag is closer to 23 inches when adding the wheels. And all airlines size restriictions include wheels.

Camille, I believe 21 inch does qualify with most airlines (especially American) as carry-on. My bag is 19 inch but they're no longer making that size.

Frank is correct about the size. My 19inch bag measures 22 inches from the bottom of the wheels to the top of the handle (which protrudes an inch or so). However, I'm guessing that I had one of the smallest carry-on bags on the planes & I know I had the smallest on the tour. They seem to let any size on board even when they post that they won't. However, we can't know the future by the past.

Just purchased the 20.5in. Landor Hawa. After my last trip with a carry-on (or so I thought,) I decided on this bag for its lightness. Oh yes, I will definitely be traveling lighter. Will use space bags, but will not overload them, too.

I checked with Landor & Hawa and they have discontinued the 19" model. The reason--lack of interest by customers.
