Anyone tried these? Still looking for a pair of good shoes.
I don't know what klog shoes are (if it's a brand) the "type" I know. I take a pair of black "crocs" for the plane, as house slippers and for some light walking. All the postings about being an ugly fashion, well, it'll be your shoes or something else (size of earrings, color of shirt, cut of pants etc.) for those that are looking for something to critize. You don't even have to speak to scream "I'm an American!" never mind what you wear. Frankly, if you go with a friendly heart you will be met in kind. Take at least two pairs of shoes and in summer some Teva type sandles. Sore tooties are the worst. I take a pair of day hikers from REI and my "crocs" plus a pair of Teva's for shuffling around open air markets etc.
My Mom is in the hospital at the moment and I noticed a physical therapist wearing some clog type shoes. I asked her about them and she told me they were "nursing shoes" sold at nursing stores. The brand name is "klog". She loved them and even let me try hers on. They seemed very comfortable and supportive.
I wondered if anyone else wears them?
Hi neighbors in G.B.! When and where are ou going? I don't know about the brand of shoes you are referring to, and what is comfortable to one person won't necessarily be comfortable to another, but I think if you can find them you should try them yourself. What I really wanted to mention, if you don't know already, is that if you buy shoes at Nordstom's you can return them, even if you have worn them. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit and often, even though they feel okay in the store, after wearing them a little while they turn out to be uncomfortable. I really wanted to be sure on our last trip that I would be comfortable with the two pairs of shoes I was allowing myself. I bought a pair of Privos at Norstrom. I wore them to work (I do alot of walking) and I hated them after wearing them all day. I was able to return them and I ended up with a pair of Tevas. They are nice looking black suede sandals with cork bottoms. They turned out to be very comfortable and I've been able to wear them for many occasions for the last two years. From now on if I have to be sure of the comfort, I'm going to Nordstrom's. The store at the Galleria has a large selection, and they can always order something for you if they don't have it. Good luck!
Once upon a time, clogs were popular in Europe. I think they are still popular as a winter shoe with wool socks in the Northern countries. I haven't noticed them being as prevalent as they once were.
I live in the Colorado mountains and clogs from Dansko are very popular and comfortable.
I love to wear clogs, but I was hoping to find someone who wears Klog brand shoes. I'm still looking for something better than my ugly Crocks, but haven't found something as comfortable.
