Has anyone taken their Kindle to Western Europe? I know I need a plug adapter to charge it (and have the correct kind for each London and Paris) but I'm wondering if I need a power converter as well? I have the 2nd generation Kindle.
Thanks!!

Hey Erika! I am taking my Kindle as well.....as far as I understand it, you just need a plug adapter. And if you have a K2 International, you should be able to wireless download books. If you have a K2 US then make sure you download all the books you want before you leave. Good luck, and enjoy your trip! :)
Thanks Steve & Lizzie,
I'm all loaded up with books so I should be set there (I have the US version so I know I can't add more when I'm there), just wanted to make sure I'm not going to fry it when I try to charge. Now if all the electronic companies could get together and agree on one universal charger for everything I'd be so happy! (Camera, Kindle, phone, etc). :)
My wife took a Kindle with her this spring on our trip to London and Paris. It worked fine with only a plug adapter. (Note that you need a different adapter for England than for the rest of western Europe.
Erika, I take one charger for all my small devices--Kindle, Blackberry, Ipod, camera:
Chargepod
I even use it at home.
