I sent ETBD an email weeks ago... (crickets chirping) Since some don't honor the discounts in the printed versions, probably some will and some won't. I would think the point is that I learned about someone's B&B or cafe because of this book - paper or e-version - and actually showed up to their establishment, so if they were inclined to give the discount with a paper version, they would respect the same info that came from an e-version...But "I would think..." has only gotten me so far sometimes ;-) You might need to show the book 'cover', and jump through some more hoops, to prove it's really a 'book' on your device.

I've now downloaded some of Rick's Kindle E-books, so was wondering the same thing. I'm curious on whether the discount applies only to the "full" Guidebooks, or the Snapshot versions as well? This is probably something that wasn't considered when they decided to release the Guidebooks in E-book format? Since this is fairly new, those travelling this year may have some "feedback". Cheers!
