On the website for the tulip displays at Keukenhof, it offers a roundtrip bus ticket with the entry as a combination. But in going from Amsterdam, it looks as though you have to first go to the airport and then to Keukenhof. Is this correct? Also, if you get the entrance tickets online, is it true that you can go right in without waiting in a long ticket line? Thanks.

In order to get to the gardens from Amsterdam you need to take the train from Centraal Station to the Airport, where you transfer to the special shuttle buses direct to the gardens. The combo ticket doesn't cover the train ticket to the airport...only the bus. With the online ticket you essentially just walk right in...no waiting in line. Having said that, I never seen any long lines to purchase tickets anyways:)
