I always keep boarding passes anyway until any FF miles are credited.
On a trip last year the airline insisted I did not take the return trip home , until I sent them photos of all my boarding passes.
Why is it a fight to get anything done properly these days??!

I've been thinking of this for a couple of days.

I wonder how countries are dealing with the prospect of having 200 people each week present themselves for entry at the border whom the system shows to be still in the zone overstaying their time from months or years ago.

Not just recent EES issues.
As a UK passport holder, years ago, when you got a slip stapled into your passport on entry, mine was not removed by immigration on exit.
I wrote to the UK consulate but got no reply.
As far as I know, the US may still think I'm there as an overstayer.
Luckily, I don't think I'll be visiting again.

These is my result after using the above mentioned website. Our entry date was May 3, 2026 at CDG and our exit date was May 14, also at CDG. The EES kiosks were not being used at entry or exit; we just used the E-gates.

I'm very confused about the "remaining days" number, since we were only in the Schengen Area 12 days. Shouldn't that number be 77 days, instead of 67 days?

This has always been the case. You are responsible for showing proof of:
- Identity
- Reason for your presence in the Area
Guilty until proven otherwise.

Thanks for sharing this. I had not thought about keeping proof of the Schengen exit, so this is really useful to know. Definitely something worth keeping in mind for future trips.
