Since 3 of the regulars and the 4 newbies we are helping with their upcoming trip are unable to gather on 2/15/14 a date and time change is in order. (Even if it does go against the franchise agreement rules. However I think there is only a small fine to pay with the monthly franchise fee payment for this rules violation)
So the Kansas City area meeting will be on Saturday February 22 at 10 AM but at a different location.
This month it will be at the Independence MO Panera at 18800 US Highway 40.
I, your humble KC Area Rick Steves Meeting Ramrod and Rick the assistant Ramrod will both be gone this month. But leave it in the capable hands of Stacey, Rob and Betty.
We are currently helping two couple plan their France and Italy trip this coming fall. We can help others in the area if you would like to attend. New attendees (to give or get advice) are always welcome.
And for all of you Lurkers to this helpline, this is what these meeting are all about. Giving and Getting travel information, tips and stories face to face with immediate feedback and followup questions to help take some of the worry about travel to Europe. We have had people travel from all over the KC Metro area and from as far away as Manhattan KS. You are welcome to attend...it is a great way to spend a Saturday morning.
