I found a great pair I am going to order on-line, but I am curious as to the sizing. I usually wear a 9M, so I think 40 would be the right size. I have Dansko sandals that are 40s and fit length-wise, but my feet kind-of float in them. Do Josef Seibel shoes fit large, small, or just about right?

Cate, Josef Seibel shoes are great and fit to size. I buy a 39 and I wear 8-8 1/2 B in most other shoes. I just bought a pair at Nordstrom on sale. Check out Nordstrom if you want to be sure. My Josef Seibels are some of my most comfortable shoes.

I find Seibels fit narrow/tight on me. But I have wide/high volume feet, and Danskos generally work really well on me.

I wear an 11 and found their shoes to run a tad short. Doable, but short. Zappos.com has AMAZING customer reviews where people are all into discussing fit, etc.
Even if a brand tends to run short/long/wide, a particular model may buck the trend. I've now begun to check their reviews first before buying any shoe (from them or elsewhere).

My pair showed up today. I am glad I went with the 40 instead of the 39- think that would have been too short! They are just a little bit more loose in the heel than I prefer, but I have narrow heels.
