Odysseys Unlimited offers the best of Rick Steves but with better hotels.

The price you see includes air but you can just pay for the tour itself and make your own travel arrangements. When checking dates, click the "land only" box for prices.

I also suggest you take the optional add on to Hiroshima.

I just returned from Japan / Korea but I took a cruise. I sailed with Norwegian Cruise Lines.
