Jansport euro sac

Has anyone ever used this bag? I looked at this bag on eBags.com compared to the eBags convertible weekender. This one seemed more organized and that packing cubes wouldn't be needed. I ended up buying it from Amazon though. They were $99 on eBags and $43 on Amazon. So I got one for me and hubby.

Hi Stella--On the ebags site I can't find the dimensions or weight of this bag...Were you able to find them? The euro sac also doesn't have a hip belt which I for one really like having. The deluxe does have a hip belt but I have no idea what the dimensions are--the deluxe looks like a cargo bag to me.
I have a RS Convertible which I love but also a Jansport from 1998 (unknown name) which is great for really long trips if necessary....definitely a cargo bag.

the janzport eurosac is 13x21x10 and weighs 3 lbs.
I have an ebags weekender and a eurosac. I have never carried my bags long enough to use the waist belt or even the backpacking straps. There both easy to use with just a shoulder strap. Of course with the ebags weekender you have to purchase a shoulder strap separately and attach it to a plastic attachment that wasnt intended for a shoulder strap, but it works.
Of course, Im a pretty fit guy so I can see how a woman may use the waist belt more often

Last month when we traveled to Europe for 12 days with carryon only, our 22 year old son used the Jansport Eurosac. He mainly used the shoulder strap but did put it in "backpack mode" for a dash through the airport. The smaller external compartments were handy for items that needed to be readily accessible (travel documents, quart bag of liquids, rain jacket, and such) The capacity is listed as 3250 cubic inches...close to the maximum for a carryon. For the price ($50 at Campmor.com) this is a great bag!

On the ebags, I never attach a shoulder strap. I just pull out one of the backpack straps and sling it over one shoulder. It stays out of the way and carries better than a strap.

I only use both straps with sternum and waist belt when I'm walking more than a mile. In those cases I really like having the sternum and waist straps because they do make the bag ride better.
