Itinerary/Trip Planner/Organizer

22 days of self planned trip from London to Rome and more connections than I thought possible.
We used to 'Wing it' but: those days are gone!
Any favorite tools to keep the whole itinerary in order?
Anyone tried "Tripit"?
Thanks!

I love tripit. It's even available offline on your phone. It's especially helpful to keep you on schedule for your connections. I highly recommend it.

I've tried TripIt and Tripcipe, but my favorite is Planapple.

TripIt feels to "business-y" to me. Not as useful for planning a vacation. And when I forwarded booking emails to TripIt, it often had trouble parsing them to pull out the correct information.

Tripcipe has potential, but it's pretty new and still feels like it. Some things just don't work the way they should.

Planapple works great. You can download your entire trip to your smartphone and access it off line (without using data). So if you do that right before you leave on your trip, you will have your entire itinerary at your fingertips.

And it has a browser extension so as you find things on the internet, you can just click the button and easily add them to your trip and include them in your itinerary.

I have Tripit and like it a lot. To enter info into your selected Trip, you can forward emailed confirmations (airline, hotels, other bookings) as you receive them to the provided tripit address and (magically!) that info will appear in your itinerary. It's very easy to edit and add plans, delete unwanted info from any selected day of your itinerary-or delete the entire trip. It can also forward the itinerary to your devices' calendar. It will text updates for your selected flights, if you want to provide your phone number. I find it very easy to use and I am definitely among the technologically challenged!
