Flying into Berlin from Canada. Berlin 4 nights.beginning of September.
Then head to Gdansk. Suggestions on travelling from Berlin to Gdansk. Bus or train. ? land travel?? We would like to see the countryside.
How many days would you suggest for Gdansk?
Then Gdansk to Tallin. Air or land travel??
Once in Tallin we have no itinerary planned but would work our way down through Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Going from north to south because of autumn weather.
Recommendations for places to visit in these countries. Like to see the countryside and not just the large cities. Staying in one place for a few days and visiting other places in surrounding area.
We then would go into Poland. We have a total of 2 months.

I'm planning my own trip to that area so can't help prioritize destinations for you, but the In Your Pocket guides may be helpful. They cover a lot of your likely destinations. Most can be downloaded from the website of the same name, but do pay attention to the dates on the covers. I noticed that some are 2018, but others are 2014, though the online information may be up to date.
They have decent maps in them that will help you get a grip on the relative positions of the various sightseeing destinations.
