Itinerary Help - Munich/Salzburg/Prague

Hi! I'm hoping for some input on our travel plans for this September. Two adults in our 20s. We'll take whatever form of transportation is easiest (including renting a car). We're interested in scenery, some historical sites - we enjoy most things but don't want to spend the whole trip inside museums. We will fly in and out of Munich (and can't change that). Arriving at 7 a.m. on September 10th, leaving in the evening on September 21st.

Day 1: arrive in Munich at 7 a.m.
Day 2: Munich
Day 3: day trip from Munich to Rothenburg, sleep in Munich
Day 4: morning train to Salzburg, sleep in Salzburg
Day 5: day trip from Salzburg to Hallstatt
Day 6: morning train from Salzburg to Prague, sleep in Prague
Day 7: Prague
Day 8: Prague
Day 9: afternoon/evening train from Prague to Munich, sleep in Munich
Day 10: Oktoberfest
Day 11: Munich
Day 12: evening flight out of Munich

Specific questions: (1) is this too rushed? (2) is a day trip to Rothenburg worthwhile? (we've considered Fussen instead); (3) is there anything you'd recommend cutting out or replacing?

Any general advice or input would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks!
