Itinerary Help-London and France

I am traveling from London to Paris in June 2009. When I arrive in Pris I would like to rent a Car and go to Bayeux and see the Normandy coast. then I would like to drive to Mont-St. Michel. following st. Michel I want to spend a day and night in the Loire Valley before returning to Paris.

How many days should I allocate for each of the sites? Can I combine Normandy and Mont-St Michel into a day and night? Should I take the train from London to Paris or arrive by boat on the Normandy coast?

If time is a factor, take the train from London to Paris. Then I'd suggest taking another train from Paris to Caen and renting a car there. This saves you from driving in Paris. From Caen, you could visit the Normandy coast & then spend a night in Bayeux. The next day you could visit Mont St. Michel and then drive to the Loire Valley for the night (Tours area). All of next day could be visiting several chateaux (2nd night in Tours area). You could return the car at the station in Tours the next morning and then take a train back to Paris. Not knowing how much time you have, this is based on having a car for 3 days (minimum required by Autoeurope) & avoiding having to drive in Paris.
