Skip Cinque Terre. Add those two days to Florence, Venice and/or use them for a daytrip to Lucca/Pisa or Siena.

"Skip Cinque Terre. Add those two days to Florence, Venice and/or use them for a daytrip to Lucca/Pisa or Siena."
- Thanks for this. But please elaborate why you say so? I find Cinque Terre very picturesque and colorful (going by the Google images) and very excited to be there. Is there anything that I should be alarmed of?

Cinque Terre is hardly the best Italy has on offer, and it is very, very crowded with all the others who think it's picturesque.
Your 1,5 day for Florence is not enough, and small cities like Siena (about 1 hr on the bus from Florence) and Lucca (1,5 hrs on the train) are much more worthwhile. Lucca can also easily be combined with Pisa (30 mins on the train).

I would agree about skipping CT - take a day trip from Florence to Pisa or Siena or take a day tour to Tuscany. CT in July - Aug will be as crowded as Mumbai! Other than that it looks great - enjoy!

Bit of a zig zag route thru Europe.
More logical would have been...
Amsterdam >> Barcelona >> Rome >> CT >> Florence >> Venice >> Prague.
With 5 nights in Prague, I too would suggest dropping Cinque Terre, allowing for 3 nights at each of the other destinations.

Okay.. What if I just do one day of Cinque Terre and the other day I invest in Florence? I know I am being stubborn but I really wanna be there

If you've got your heart set on the CT at the expense of time in Florence, then go to the CT - it's your trip:)

As to the rest of your pacing and the flights you've already bought, you should be fine. That's similar to pacing I use and it gives me time to explore a city in some depth. Barcelona is kind of an outlier on your routing (but it's a nice quick flight) but I see you've already booked a flight and I totally get your desire to see Barcelona...I LOVE it there!!

While the Cinque Terre is adding extra travel time both to and from, you can rest assured that plenty of tourists have enjoyed trips with only two nights in Florence and two nights in the Cinque Terre .

I would research places outside main cities. I would try to get a bit off the main tourist track.

Too many days in Prague. Why are you in Venice and then flying to Barcelona and then flying to Prague.

Hey Bronwen ! So its kind of complex. My friend is leaving half way through the trip. And we want to shop around in Spain. So her last destination is Spain. And then I continue my tour for next 5-6 days. If you have any suggestions regarding splitting these 5-6 days into two destinations, please share. Though I think Prague is beautiful :) and a week should be just right.

Trip would flow better with this change.

Day 8. Rome-CT

Day 9. CT.

Day 10. Ct-Florence.

Day 11. Florence-Venice.

Day 12. Venice.

I think your time in Prague is fine...it's about 3 full days to see everything the city has to offer and then you have a couple extra days for day trips out to nearby places. Consider a castle, nearby town, or historic site. There is a lot to see in the area.
My only additional remark will be about the CT in summer...yes, it's extremely picturesque. Just be prepared for incredible crowds and stifling heat. The humidity hangs in the air like fog - drink plenty of water and slow down in the afternoons when it's the worst.
