Hi-
I am in the process of planning a 2 week trip in Mid June to Spain and Paris. There will be 6 of us- my husband and I, 3 teenagers (13,16,18) and my mom (78). We plan on flying into Sevilla- my 16 year old has been studying there this year and we will be picking her up- and flying out of Paris. I originally wanted to stay in Spain the whole time, but my husband is insisting on at least 3 days in Paris. Any advice on an itinerary in between? Here’s what I am thinking so far: for sure: Sevilla, Grenada and Barcelona - perhaps Cordoba, Valencia and Alicante in there? My kids and husband are more into experiential travel then museums and sights and there have been requests for beach. Thank you!
Exactly how many nights will you have in Europe, not counting the night on the plane? Some people say "2 weeks" but only have 12 nights to spend in Europe, which means only 11 full, mostly-not-jetlagged days. Others have the full 14 nights in Europe. It makes a lot of difference when you're trying to put together a reasonable itinerary.
There are beaches in Barcelona. Skip Alicante and Valencia so you'll have more than 2 days in each of the other cities. Alicante and Valencia are just not as sight-rich as your other destinations. In addition, visiting either or both will add considerable transportation time, further reducing sightseeing time.
Have you checked airfares into Seville? Fares are highly origin-, destination-, and date-specific, but when I put together a trip to Andalucía last year, I found flying to Seville or even Malaga was going to be at least $500 more expensive (per person) than flying to Madrid. It would be a shame to fly into Madrid when you don't have time to see it, but if you're going to find the fare to Seville unacceptable for a group of 5, it's far better to know it now so you can adjust your itinerary (and perhaps convince your husband that squeezing in Paris is not a good idea).
You don't have enough time for my minimum nights in each city. Maybe something like this:
Seville: 4 nights with day-trip to Cordoba (this gives 2 full days in Seville)
Granada (by train or bus): 2 nights
Barcelona (by plane): 4 nights
Paris (by plane): 3 nights
The above is based on 13 nights. If you have fewer, it's going to be really rushed--and remember, the weather in Andalucía is likely to be very, very hot and not conducive to rushing round. You may need to take a break each afternoon in your air-conditioned hotel rooms (which you obviously will not be able to do during a day-trip to Cordoba).
If you have 14 nights, add the extra night to Paris.
The above is just one person's suggestion.

Too many places, not enough being somewhere.
Agree with the above: post your actual dates (even if those are just proposed dates), stop speaking in vague generalities like "2 weeks" (doing so allows and encourages you to tell yourself little white lies about how much usable time you actually have). It's time to be honest, brutally honest, about what's doable and what's not.
You didn't mention to what extent (if any) the rest of you have been to Europe/Spain/Paris before....makes a difference.
I'd suggest you do not book anything until you figure out an itinerary.
Spain and France are large countries and you can't really do Spain alone in two weeks.
If you want to spend some time in Paris, suggest 4-5 days and the remainder in Seville, Grenada, Cordoba and perhaps Madrid. Save Barcelona for another trip.
