I would like your advice on the following itinerary planned for August in Armenia.
Except for the first day around Yerevan, do you think it is better to do the other days as day trips from Yerevan, or to stay overnight in places like Goris and Dilijan?
Day 1: half-day visit to Garni, Geghard, Symphony of Stones
Day 2: Yerevan → South (Khor Virap, Birds’ Cave, Noravank, Jermuk or Goris.
Day 3: Goris (Tatev, Wings of Tatev, Khndzoresk) Goris
Day 4: Goris → Dilijan (Selim Pass, Noraduz, Sevan / Sevanavank) Dilijan.
Day 5: Dilijan → Yerevan (Old Dilijan, Lake Parz, Haghartsin)
