Just reaching out for suggestions to my quandary... I'm flying in and out of Milan mid October for a wedding in Florence. Spending the first couple of nights in the Como area and then on to Florence for 3 nights with 8 more nights to see and do. As I've visited Italy before I'm trying to see some cities I haven't been to before. Original thought was 2 nights Vienna and 3 each in Prague and Budapest last night in Milan for an early return flight. I just can't seem to commit to that being the right choice. Considering Salzburg, someplace in Switzerland or Germany.. AAHHH. Any suggestions or thoughts would be much appreciated!

I wouldn't venture as far as Prague - Vienna - Budapest. Leave them for a future trip.

Either your plan or David's plan or others would work fine. In your gut, what excites you? Decide that, then the logistics can be figured out.... Enjoy your trip!

Depending on the days of the week you can fly Bologna to Prague for about $100, the Prague to Budapest for about $100, then Budapest to Milan for about $100.
