Chris, I was in Italy in April about a year ago, and on that occasion the weather consisted of warm sunny days and pleasantly warm evenings. However, it was quite different when I was in Rome and Tuscany in May this year. It was unseasonably wet and chilly, with a few sunny days (my shoes took a beating in the muddy clay of Tuscany). I'd suggest taking a suitable mix of clothes for layering, as well as some rain gear and good footwear. To paraphrase something Rick often says, "there's no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing". Happy travels!

We have been to Italy during the second half of April - it was fine for traveling. Would it be best to explore Morocco first? As for clothes, the Italy part would be much the same as CT.

Thank you for the website that gives the weather averages and the range of temperatures you can expect. Nothing worse than packing the wrong clothes for a trip carrying limited luggage.

Yes Byron, as I just found out on two recent trips...Went to New York City and expected very cold and windy only to find calm, warmer days, and a week later went to Florida expecting sunshine and heat, to discover the very, very cold weather was down there... brrrrrr. so that site is a big help... thanks again
