Is Februay a good month to go to Italy.
You ask if February is a "good time to visit Italy." Good time compared to what? In general, travelers who have a choice seem to prefer April, early May, or September--thus, if you have the choice of going later in the year, those months (April, May, or September) may be "the best time", especially if weather is a major factor for you.But on the plus side for February, there will be no crowds and somewhat lower costs in February than in the summer. Summer in Italy can be hot and sticky.Italy is not northern Europe in terms of weather and quite doable in February, especially if you're doing mostly indoor things in urban areas.
Thanks for your advice. Wanted to visit the major cities inland (Rome, Florence, Milan, Noples, and Vinece)
This year Carnival is in Feburary. I've been to Florence in Fed. and it was empty, but not too cold or anything. Just be sure to pack vitimans and get a flu shot. It is flu season and you don't want to catch a bug while you're on vacation
i think that March might be better if you have a bit of flexibility; it will be a little bit warmer. But February and March is a great time to travel because the crowds haven't hit yet.
It might be a bit cold. I would go in March rather than February
