So, how do you say "Where is the train station, please?" in that language?!?
Well, that language is Korean, so......
in which language, Alice?
I'm guessing Greek.
According to Google translate (which has sometimes proved to be spectacularly wrong in the past), it is:
Πού είναι ο σταθμός του τρένου, παρακαλώ;
Don't ask me how to pronounce it, I can only just manage "Où est la gare, s'il vous plaît?" or "Wo ist der Bahnhof, bitte?".
Based on the heading, I assume the OP means Greek.
if you go to google translate, you can enter a phrase in English and have it translated into whatever language you choose. There is an audio option where you can listen to the translation. It is not perfect, but very useful in a pinch.
However, two more useful phrases to learn are "Thank you" and "Do you speak English?" When you ask for directions in a language you don't speak, you generally get one of three reactions:
1) The person does not understand your accent and has no idea what you said
2) The person answers your question in the local language and you have no idea what they said
3) The person recognizes that you are an English speaker and responds in English.
If it is 1 or 2, you still won't know where the train station is.
Good one, Nancy.
I was attempting to comment humorously on the deluge of spam. I guess I just came across as clueless. Sorry, guys.
One more translation about your train station: Kde je nadrazi, prosim?
I think we should start a new post, or info page, "Where is the train station, please?" in every European language.
And of all the Greek phrases I would like to learn, that one is close to the bottom in usefulness.
So where is the station really? ;-)
