Anyone who has connected through Attaturk(Istanbul)? How long should we allow for connecting flights? Flying from Izmir on TA or Atlasjet and connecting to London Heathrow on BA. About to purchase tickets from Izmir and want to make sure we're giving ourselves enough time. TIA

If not checking bags I would say you would need about an hour. Since the first flight is a domestic one you wouldn't have to go through immigration - just head straight to the transfer desk, get your onward boarding passes and then go through security to the departure area.
If checking bags, I would check if your first carrier will interline the bags to BA. I would think TA would do it but not sure about Atlasjet. Do check with the airlines. If they do not interline, I would probably give myself 2 hours to get my bags and then recheck in with BA for the 2nd flight.
