Hi, I used yelp quite often to search for reviews on restaurants . It is not perfect or exactly accurate at times but then everyone has their taste and preferences but still is a good resource. I wonder if there is something similar to it in Europe? Thanks

Sally, I have used Yelp as a reference for restaurants in Paris, London, Florence, Vernazza, and in Ireland. Not sure if there is something else similar, but I've had good results.

There was Qype in Germany, but it was bought by Yelp, half of the database was lost, and now it s*cks.

There is Qype, but I don't think people use it very much.
For reviews of restaurants in English, Trip Advisor is excellent. I go over the reviews for restaurants in Frankfurt all the time, and I seldom find a "fake" review. Other cities are probably similar, and I like that they are very up to date.
