Is Agoda.com trustworthy?

I booked a hotel thru the Agoda website today for a room in Paris in August and now I'm worried. They've already charged my credit card but I cannot seem to login to the website to view my reservations or get my receipt. Are they trustworthy? Maybe my email is just acting up. Can't seem to get a reply from their "contact us" email.
Thanks

I took a look at their website and read some reviews and it appears they are a legit company, though there were some complaints about how they show the price of the rooms. I did a fake booking with them for a hotel in Paris against the same one with Booking. com and they were more expensive by about $30. Plus in using Booking.com, I have never had to pay for a room before I was actually in it and have also never had any problems cancelling if my plans change. If you are concerned, I would keep trying to cancel with them, don't know what hotel you booked but they did say free cancellation for the one I checked. Also check your junk mail as a lot of time things go there is it is a new email address.

I've used Agoda several times when they have the lowest rates and all of the bookings have been fine. Neil

Thanks folks. I finally received an email from them with my "voucher" however, I'm still having trouble logging in to their site and not receiving any responses to my requests. And yes, I've checked my spam folders and it's not my system. They are simply not responding. I'm thinking with all the trouble I'm having it's not worth saving a few dollars. Think I'll stay with bookings either directly thru Hotel websites or with Booking.com. Appreciate your replies.

According to a business story I saw two years ago, Priceline, Agoda and Booking.com are all part of the same corporate group. That doesn't mean they operate as one, but it probably indicates their trustworthiness is about equal.

Thanks all. However, I continue to have serious difficulties with these people. (I believe they are headquartered in Thailand). I finally received an email from them confirming my cancellation. However, it's now been 2 days, and the $800+ charge has STILL not been removed from my credit card, despite sending them 2 messages. I will never use this company again and will not recommend it. I have never booked a hotel where the entire bill was charged to me PRIOR to the trip and their response time is abysmal. Be warned.
