Hi does anyone have issues using irish passport card to travel? Booked from belfast to Spain with easyjet and they refuse to say if they accept irish passport card .Irish embassy told me it is up to airline even though it is a legal document .they said it is acceptable for travel .any advice appreciated
Does this help?

Easyjet's website says it is valid: http://www.easyjet.com/en/help/boarding-and-flying/travel-documents-and-information
If you scroll down to the section titled: Identification needed for international flights The last paragraph reads:
Citizens of the European Union, European Economic Area and Switzerland may travel within Europe using a valid EU/EEA/Swiss National Identity Card or Passport Card.
Many thanks for your reply .I have found the section on their site where they say can travel on passport card .Unsure why they don't have it listed on the drop down menu when checking in .They have stated my husband is checked in but have to go to check in desk to get boarding pass so still nervous if he is getting to board! Flew with jet 2 belfast to Spain no bother in September !
