iPod Touch - Charging

Hello,
I leave for Europe (London, Amsterdam and Ibiza, Spain) in 12 days, and I am just trying to cover my bases on a few questions and errands I have before I do. I work in construction, and work in camp, so I won't be at home until 2 days before I leave, leaving time of the essense.

Does anyone know or have any suggestions on where I can charge my iPod touch when I am in Europe. I will not be bringing my laptop, and have recently bought the iPod touch to have my music and Wi-Fi capabilites.
Also, if there any last minute things I should remember, any feedback is greatly appreciated. As I am doing countless lists..but someone elses input is always wonderful.
Cheers and safe travels everyone!

I had an iPod Touch in Europe last summer, and I brought along a "wall-to-USB" charger, which you can find at any electronics store. It allows you to charge your iPod without a computer, just connect it to the standard USB cable that you normally use to charge your iPod. And you'll need connect all of that the standard Europe-to-U.S. plug adapter. So it ends up being an odd-looking contraption, but it works fine.

As an alternative, plenty of European hotels have PCs in their lobby. You could connect your iPod to their computer for charging, but of course you'd want to keep an eye on it so no one takes it.

Also, there are small portable charging devices that you can carry to charge your iPod on the train or wherever. My husband bought a small Tekkeon charger and it works great for my iPod, but it charges all kinds of electronic devices.

Nicki,

If you have either Future Shop, London Drugs or Source stores in your area, either one should be able to provide small Travel Chargers for I-Pods.

I've been using a small Logiix Charger on trips lately, and it works fine in Europe (you will require a Plug Adaptor though). There are various brands available, but Logiix is one example.

As you're in camp until two days before departure, possibly one of your friends or relatives could purchase one for you (provided you have some way to contact them).

Happy travels!
