Is there a forum somewhere for questions about iPhones? I did the advanced search, but then you end up with stuff all over the place and you get every mention of the iPhone. If you get too specific you get nothing. I know there are posts on here where people have probably asked my same questions, and I don't want to pollute more airspace re-hashing the same issues. Is there an iPhone forum on here or on another site that has a lot of information about FAQs regarding how they work abroad?

If you go to ATT.com there is a good deal of information and you can chat online with a customer service person. They will tell you what you need to do depending on what services you would like to use. If you want to use it as a phone there, you will probably want to pay for one of their international roaming deals.

I brought my iPhone when I traveled to Europe and yes, voice and data works over there. But to minimize charges, I'm mostly in Airplane mode, international data roaming off, and wifi always on. Only when I want to make a call do I turn off airplane mode.
