We have a first generation Iphone and will need a charger when we are in Paris. Not sure what works best?
Your current charging cable should be fine...the USB with the AC plug adapter attached. The iPhones are set to automatically adjust to any power system between 120 and 240 volts, so it'll be fine in Paris. All you need is the two-round-pronged plug adapter to fit the outlets in Paris.
You can pick up chargers at Wal mart, Target etc.. Belkin makes a line also you can lookup on Amazon.
If you are more comfortable going with Apple OEM stuff you need this and then a plug adapter so that the US prongs will fit the European outlet

Sorry Tom...does Apple in the US not provide the USB cable and AC plug in the box?
Norm, I'll bet you are right... I am an Ipod touch user, not an Iphone person and I needed that as Apple expects me to recharge my Ipod by attaching to my computer. John probably already has one that came with his phone. All he needs is the prong adapter. Sorry.
John,
I have an IPod Touch and I assume the Chargers will be the same. I've been using a Logiix Charger for my IPod during travels, and it works great. A Plug Adapter is required though, and you'll have to bring the USB Charging Cable that was supplied with your Phone.
Be sure that the data portion of your phone is disabled when you're travelling, or you could find a very nasty bill waiting for you when you get home!
Cheers!
