iPad and iPhone charging

Will I need a voltage converter to charge my iPad and iPhone? I know I will need an adapter.
Thanks ahead of time!

Hey just discovered the search engine and found my answer. Looks like only an adaptor is needed!

You are right, only an adapter is needed. Or if you are traveling with a netbook, you can plug both into that and charge everything at once.

A netbook is a small laptop computer, smaller than a notebook computer. Mine has an 11" screen.

Becky, As the others have mentioned, the Chargers for both your iPhone and iPad should be designed to operate from 100-240 VAC, so you'll only need Plug Adapters to use these in Europe. You can verify this by checking the nameplate labels on each Charger. Note that different style Plug Adapters are used in the U.K. and continental Europe. If you're travelling in both areas, you'll need one of each type (I'd suggest taking at least two of each type, as it's always prudent to have a "backup"). One other important point that needs to be addressed is using your iPhone in Europe. Whether your phone will even work in Europe will depend on which network you're with, and which model of iPhone you're using. You'll need to be VERY CAREFUL with data roaming as the bills can be HUGE. If your iPad is a 3G model and you plan on using this away from Wi-Fi areas, you may need to consider the same issue. Happy travels!
