Are there any interracial couples out there who have experienced anything to be concerned about while travelling in Germany and France?

I'm not interracial, and I can't speak for France or Germany. Just to say that its a non issue here in England. Lots of children from those couples just part of the scenery.

I'll be blunt - the racism is mostly directed towards muslims right now. (And the Roma people in some parts.) There might be a stray rude individual, but generally speaking, I don't expect anyone will bat an eye. We're an interracial family and my daughter has commented about how she's surprised how many brown children she sees with white moms. (Which is a good thing compared to how many she saw in the US)

I don't think it is going to be a problem in Germany, unless you were heading over to some of the towns in the former Eastern states. The rest of Germany is extremely multi-cultural and multi-racial.
