Hi, I am planning on traveling from Vancouver Canada (amber list) to Heathrow on one ticket, then continuing to Zurich on a separate ticket the same day. Full vaccinated as well. I am wondering if anyone has any experience doing something similar, ultimately the goal would be to not quarantine upon arrival in Heathrow. Is such a transfer possible?

Thanks for replying. I should have mentioned I will not bring checked-in baggage, only carry on to simplify things. As far as I am aware, I can transfer sans quarantine, but I'm seeing mixed posts about separate tickets being a concern and can't get a straight answer from Heathrow.

The airline where you are boarding in Vancouver will concern themselves about whether you meet requirements for entry into London, as they will have no idea of your second stop.
