Hello everyone,
I have seen ads for the ITIC (Int'l Teacher Id Card) from the same companies that do the ISIC (student version). Has anyone used the teacher card - were the discounts worth it? I'm probably going on a RS Best of Village Italy tour this summer and wondered if the teacher card would be worth the price? Thanks.

I carried the Teacher card for 3 1/2 months in Europe. I think we only got discounts a couple of times. One time was at the castle in Prague but I don't remember using it a lot. Hope this helps.

I used it a couple of times for trips with students. We basically got discounts in a few sites, but nothing major. At the time, they had some medical coverage with them, and we were advised to get it to "prove" that we were educators at sites that gave discounts for that. Unless they have gone up in the last couple of years, it is cheap and probably worth it overall.
