Hello - Just beginning to plan a 6month +/- trip to Europe. Any suggestions for health insurance companies for coverage while there?

Have you checked yet to see if your existing insurance covers you while abroad?
Also - and perhaps even more important - are you aware of the limits of how long one can stay as a tourist in the places you're planning to go? For most of us (Americans, Canadians and some others), the limit is a maximum of 90 days within an 180 day period in the Schengen Area. Be sure you know the limits before you start making plans for a long stay.

We used travel insured and had claims paid easily by them twice - once for an overnight delay we had in London upon arrival, and once for my whole party when we had to cancel a cruise due to my knee surgery.
