Immigration question

Hello, question on immigration - I am traveling to Amsterdam, Belgium and Paris next April.

I am flying from Boston to Amsterdam with a 3 hour layover in Lisbon. Will I go through immigration in Lisbon or Amsterdam?

For the return flight, I fly from Paris to Boston with a 90 minute layover in Lisbon. Again, will I go through immigration in Paris or Lisbon?

Thank you!

You will go through Schengen passport control in Lisbon on both legs of this trip (and then of course US passport control when you arrive back in Boston).

Assuming you are traveling on one ticket (presumably this is a TAP Air Portugal itinerary?) your baggage should be checked through to your final destination on both trips as well.

Seconded. You go through immigration when you first enter the Schengen Area, and when you leave it again, not when your travel between Schengen countries.
So Lisbon only both ways.

Thanks for the replies!

I was in Lisbon this past April - immigration took 2 full hours upon arrival and on the way home an hour.

Definitely not thrilled about my return trip with only 90 mins. Yes, it is through TAP and I hope to not check any bags.

Are you flying with separate itineraries or will this be all on one ticket?

90 minutes is very tight especially as you said it took 2 hours the last time you were in Lisbon. You might want increase the layover time in Lisbon.
